I found this Tonal Check Flared Mini Dress on Gilt.  I was a bit skeptical about buying it because I wasn’t sure if I would like it when it arrives.  The sales price was a bit tempting so I decided to take a chance.  It looked really nice when I pulled it out of the box.  The mixed pattern was a bit unexpected but it works: textured white gingham fabric over black and white vertical stripes linen.

I paired the dress with a blazer and a leopard print heels.  The color of the blazer gives the whole outfit a pop.
