I never look forward to the Fall but the reality of the fact is that, it is beginning to get a little bit cold at night and early in the morning.  So far, we have had the pleasure of enjoying a temperature well above 60 degrees since September 23 (first day of Fall).  The gist around town is that this Winter is going to be brutal.  I am already scouting for pieces that will enable me to layer things up when that cold wind begins to blow.  So if you had invested in a spring trench coat with a softer silhouette for shine – not rain – that features a few of the usual polished details such as a tidy belt, epaulets, and roomy pockets, you still have enough weeks to wear it before the temperature takes a nosedive into the Winter.

For a 9-to-5 look, pair the coat with a trouser and a sweater. After hours, throw your topper over a slip dress and heels or wear it alone with a pair of tight and booties.
