Fishnets are an essential part of my winter wardrobe especially when the temperature is running around thirty something degrees. Although fishnets are generally considered to be a sexy or kinky accessory, I have been able to wear them even to work and church by using other items in my look to draw a little attention away from it.

For this week’s look, all the clothing pieces were paired intentionally to tame the sparkly hosiery. For instance, the first thing I did was to go for a flat footwear instead of heels. The cute pearl and gold detail and patent material of these Louise et Cie oxford are just the perfect attention-grabber needed. It will draw the eyes in first leaving no room for minds to wonder about my kinky black and gold legs. To complement my glittery legs, I thought a matte appearance on top would be best so I chose the grey sleeveless coat and a red belt for color. The lace-hemline dress added a sweet touch to the whole look and made it a bit more interesting. The color of the belt and the hemline of the dress also takes a little attention away from the fishnet. This look is a cross between sexy and minimal but could be viewed as edgy!

My legs are my best feature and I love that these metallic hosiery accentuates them.
