Cerise is said to be a rose-red color. I could not see the red as indicated in the color description of this power cable sweater on Nordstrom’s website or at the store when I first saw it.  The color of the sweater is supposed to be cherise red but it looks more like hot pink when seen in person. After examining the images taken with my camera, I noticed the sweater gave off some red shadows that were invisible to the naked eyes which makes the shade of the red pant I am wearing a perfect choice to pair with the top.

If you got a chance to read my post on Monday, you probably have found your way to Nordstrom by now to enjoy its up to 40% off sales that is happening till this coming Sunday, February 25. From the sales event, I was able to score this cute bright and soft cotton-blend sweater at a fraction of its original price. Not only does it have a beautiful shade of pink, the mix of stitches and its extra chunkiness makes it look and feel lush. It fits nicely. The V-neckline is not cut too deep. This sweater in this shade can be paired with any color. If you want to go for a look that is totally not muted but out-rightly loud and will require little to no jewelry because the colors are just speaking, I will advice to choose a shade of red, a vibrant red to be precise.
