I just finished reading an article written by Julia Iofee, a journalist for GQ Magazine. The title of the article is “The Spy Who Drove Me“. The second paragraph where she referred to the Aspen Security Forum attendees as spooks poked the humorous side of me. I found the way she qualified all the different class of American top security national experts who attended the forum as spooks witty. What a clever way to capture ones attention! My attention. I ended up reading the funny and attention grabbing article which came together using 3,234 words. Yes, it was a long read but got me curious till the end. I too wanted to know if Gloria is just a Uber driver or a North Korea spy.
Some people have complained about my long write-ups sometimes which is okay. Or should I say friends to be more specific. From taking my time to read and digest Julia’s article, I have learned two things
1. I have come to realize that those that love information, are willing to learn, support and appreciate your effort will respectfully read your piece rather than dismiss it.
2. You never know who your Uber driver is so be careful what information you divulge.
Thank you Pocket for recommending this GQ article.
To the fashion business of the day…
There was a time I would not wear a jeans like this jagged frayed hem version by Frame. But like everything else and as I have mentioned a few times before, I am open to trying new things especially cute ones. Fashion is not boring and I am not about that boring life either. Frame’s presentation of this denim caught my eyes which was why I shared this cute and simply chic leg decor with you as a weekly find in April (here). I hope you got a chance to own one from one of the stores offering the denim on sale or else you are stuck with purchasing it from Barneys at the full price. But I will advice you to keep an eye on the Barney’s page, it might go on sale soon but no telling when.
Thanks for stopping by!
