Love, love this Hottie and Lord pastel floral chiffon blouse (here). It is such a pretty piece. Anything with a back detail is a win in my book. I love bows. The fact that the bow ties to the back of the blouse is a double win for me. The length and size of the tie fastening at the back makes this item a must have. I am really not into ruffled cuffs but tickled pink at the way the hem of the cuff delicately grazes the knuckles. It is so feminine! This blouse is perfect for the office and for going out.

My intention was to build a moodboard styling this beautiful Hottie and Lord top (here) with the blue J.Crew linen wide-leg pant for a summer work look. Then I found the See by Chloe velvet midi skirt and I thought the texture of the skirt would play well with the chiffon blouse.

Shall we mix print and pattern? A case of floral meet geometry is styling the blouse with the green Haider Ackermann pant. Shall we take a cue from the runway or street style and pair the blouse with the Calvin Klein leopard print skirt? Can cobalt blue look any more gorgeous against the blouse? How about a dark wash denim on a weekend?

What a universal blouse! Don’t forget that purple/lilac would work too. No matter what color or print I decide to pair the blouse with, I will probably choose to carry this BOYY bag (here), lilac Yuzefi bag (here) or this Les Petits Joueurs bag (here). But then I would have to buy one of the bags first. The BOYY bag would be a perfect mother’s day gift. Hint! Hint! ?
