It was only yesterday after receiving a new blog post alert from The Fashion Guitar Blog (here) that I found out that Jeff Bezos have decided to tap into the world of social media influencers and capitalize on it’s monetary potential by creating The Drop.
The Drop, is an Amazon collaboration with global fashion influencers to bring you of-the-moment limited-fashion collections from around the world. Every few weeks a new collection designed by one fashion influencer (with guidance from industry professionals) and also highlighting her latest trend will launch and you only have 30 hours or less (due to limited fabrics to avoid wastage) to shop the collection once it drops. Each piece is then made-on-demand, just for you. If you do not like your purchase, you can return it for a full refund.
One good thing about The Drop is that it offers lots of inspirations on how to wear these launched pieces by styling them alongside Staples by The Drop.
