This afternoon, I expressed to a friend that December 31st is usually a day that I always wish I work for a private company just for an opportunity to attend an end of year party. A party that would require me to dress up, of course. My reality has always been in denim. Ever since I could say my first word as baby, I had always shouted Happy New Year in church and then straight home to bed. Today is not going to be different from the yesteryears. While bloggers such as All The Pretty Birds, Style Pantry, and Jadore Fashion are impressing you with remarkably chic and more glamourous styles to ring in the 2020, I am going to be in church in this DL1961 denim, Banana Republic turtleneck, Merge Sherwood Shoulder Bag and J crew earrings.

The watch night service starts at 9pm so I have enough time to decide on whether to wear these very old Sam Edelman heels, Polly Plume loafers or these go-with-everything Reebok vintage sneakers. Leaning more towards the Reebok even though the heels would like a wear after 2 years or more of just sitting in the closet.

Finishing the look with this old J Crew cocoon coat but mine is in a darker shade.

Whatever you choose to do tonight, do have a lovely and blessed end-of-year. 2020 will be more fruitful for all of us in Jesus name.
