I used to be ahead of the color trend each year but lately I have been so preoccupied with other personal duties that I am at the moment playing catch-up with fashion. My Instagram page is a testament to my time lag. I can’t even remember the last time I posted a picture. Life is just too busy. *Sigh*
Wisteria is my new found love for Spring. It looks like Pistachio is about to take a seat and give way to my sudden crush, the pretty pale-bluish-lilac shade. The love connection got activated when I saw Marc Jacobs’ look #24 of his Spring/Summer 2020 RTW collection. Then I came across the color again while reading the March edition of House Beautiful. Apparently, this hue is the hottest color designers are obsessed about in the interior design world. So I went looking in the fashion world and found several designers featuring this color. What a sweet beauty! This mellow purple shade is very easy on the eyes. I love the styling of this color on the runway especially Valentino and Prada. I decided to bring you my favorites for your spring style inspiration.
Wisteria is perfect combined with any of the 2020 Spring/Summer New York Fashion Week Color Palette published by Pantone. Personally, I am loving the flavorful combination of wisteria and saffron, the candy coated mix of wisteria and citron, the cool and modern whip of wisteria and charcoal and the fierce blend of wisteria and flame.
What would be your color choice to pair with wisteria?
