New Ways to Wear The White Button-Down Shirt

The white button-down/oxford/blouse/dress shirt or whatever you want to call it is a classic closet staple for a variety of truly chic looks. Mostly worn with a pencil or maxi skirt or with a bit of menswear flair (e.g. pants), the possibilities of styling this crisp, slim cut, long sleeved with front and cuff button fastening are endless.

Lucky Magazine February 2015 suggested five new ways to wear the timeless piece:

Off Duty – On a Saturday (The Northern Light)
Romantic – Tie a bow
Edgy – Layers of long chains and long coat (Gabriela Grskovic)
Oversized – Pair with a billowy tapered trouser
Layered – With a cocktail dress (The 3000 Chapter)
