Well Vested

It’s Friday!!!

I am always excited when Friday comes knocking on the door because it is about to be the weekend and babe, I’m about to have me some fun (in R. Kelly’s voice). Do I have plans? Of course not! But I am about to figure it out since this weekend is going to be a long one. I was told one of my little brothers is having a cookout on July 4th so I am about to suffer from a non-medical condition called Olumofincitis (derived from the last name of the Olumofin brothers that crashes parties in Nigeria). I am about to crash it. When you see pictures, just know they were taken at my mo gbo mo ya (party crashing) outing.  I was invited last year but I could not make it, though I eagerly looked forward to it. Why didn’t I go? I was extremely too tired to get up from the bed. It was as if I was drunk in sleep. I basically stayed in bed till the next morning. Biodun, I am on my way to your house on Monday for some roasted corn and grilled chicken. I might show up with peppered goat meat for all those salivating female members of your family. They know themselves. LMBO!.

To the outfit of the day (#OOTD), I love suiting vests because it adds a masculine touch to a feminine look. Masculine + Feminine = Androgynous, this is what this look is about.

That is supposed to be a striped pink shirt.  All thanks to hubby, my photographer that never complains, the shirt looks solid. When pairing two striped items such as a vest or jacket and a shirt, make sure the stripes on the shirt are thinner and the stripes on the vest or jacket are wider.

I hope some of you will find this look inspiring. Anyway, have a great weekend everyone. Till we meet again on Monday.
