Grey, a color most commonly associated with neutrality and modesty is a regular in my closet. It is one of my favorite color palette for fall and winter. So it is no surprise it got chosen as my first featured color for this season. Pair-able with almost any bright or muted shade, Sharkskin, a concept of grey is a color that looks classic and tough. It brings stability to any non-monochromatic look with darker or lighter shades.

For this look, the outfit was created around the sharkskin color sneakers. I love pairing tailored pieces with casuals so I chose a grey tailored pant with a longer hem that would tuck neatly into the sneakers but a little rough around the ankle. By the way, the pant was deliberately acquired in a longer length just for a gathered look. You can see the actual length of the trouser in photos with heels. I really like the soft gathered effect around the ankle.

A sleeveless coat paired with a long sleeves merino pullover is just right enough to keep you warm as we approach colder days. The burgundy color of the coat is perfect for fall. Adding navy complements the burgundy and gray. It also keeps the color palette steady.
