The weather was kind of weird yesterday. It was gloomy and wet so, I had no intention of taken pictures. All of a sudden, the sun and the wind came out of nowhere and I could not pass on the opportunity to pose and snap away.
I bought this Badgley Mischka Navy Embellished Crepe Dress from Rue La La last summer. A bit skeptical at first because of the little flaps on the sides. They were not pockets so they gave me a reason to have second thoughts about the dress. I am glad I made the purchase. The dress fits like a glove.
I love long chunky cardigans. This green Banana Republic version was the last one in the store. I basically wear it with almost everything in my closet. Very versatile and chunky enough to keep me warm.
When I picked my outfit on Sunday morning, I was sure about the dress but not the sweater and shoes. I felt like wearing my black pumps but I decided to go with the Sam Edelman burgundy suede at the last minute. I just threw the green sweater on and the combination came out great. I want to say perfect but I’m treading carefully should in case someone disagrees. LOL!
This outfit proves the point of my quote earlier that states, “There’s really no such thing as colors that can’t work together…” See here for complete quote.
Great Job Cuz. Looking great. You should file a trademark for the name of your Blog very soon.
Thanks Cuz!!! I really appreciate you stopping by and the trademark advice.
Love the dress and shoe combo… Beautiful pictures.
Thanks!
I love the Dress and the Shoes, came put perfectly. And there’s really no such thing as colors not working together. Just imagine you were in the 80s.
