Not as deep as Jeremy Scott’s Ready-to-Wear Fall 2019 ‘Fake News’ collection, the newspaper print is a design I have loved since John Galliano’s Spring/Summer 2000 couture collection for Dior. I could not afford Dior back in 2000 but today, I could afford this less than $50 newspaper print mock neck top from Partizia Luca Milano, a boutique located at Westfiled Montgomery Mall in Maryland. It is a fashion statement piece that refused to disappear and not return since its introduction by Elsa Schiaparelli in the 1930s. The best way to wear this headline making piece is to pair it with solids in colors that pop. This way attention is not taken from but instead drawn to the newspaper printed clothing item.

Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City might have stolen everyone’s heart wearing the newspaper print but it was Kim Kardashian that captured mine in this vintage Dior skirt. Did you notice the dusty pink lining? Trust me when I suggest to you to pair a newspaper printed bottom or top with a solid color. Preferably in a jewel tone shade.
